Government Contractor DCAA Audit and Compliance Support

Here's some resources for government contractors.

The tasks to meet federal contract requirements are labor intensive, costly, and prone to error. DCAA compliance requires better processes and flexible accounting software. Microsoft Dynamics SL has the flexibility and built-in components that are necessary in an accounting system to meet requirements and pass reviews and audits with ease.

With the help of the government contractor user community, Dynamics SL reports have been developed to make compliance even easier. See the US Government Contractor Report Pack.

Also, find many other resources on the Government Contractor DCAA Compliant Resource Page.

Is there a suggested chart of accounts that is compatable with the US Government Contractor Report Pack? For example, if you are a new customer with a new SL installation, is there a white paper or document which includes an optimum chart of account structure for government contractors needing to be DCAA compliant? We are a professional services firm in business for a decade. Ideally we would like to use best practices to implement SL to take advantage of the contractor report pack. We are more than willing to dump our present chart of accounts.

Synergy is happy to share a chart-of-accounts structure with you, if you will please contact Jered Cady at 800-481-8590 or jered@synergybusiness.com. The final detail numbers in the chart will depend to a degree on the requirements of your company.
